Autumn Exhibition a huge success
Our Autumn Exhibition, held over the weekend of 3-4 November, was deemed by both members and visitors alike as a resounding success. The Main Hall was packed with an eclectic range of work from across the whole Club membership, plus personal selections of work from some of our members. Further individual collections – including books, cards, and framed prints, were on display in one of the side rooms. Another side room was dedicated to an Audio-Visual presentation of over 700 projected images from members, all displayed to the accompaniment of a soothing background music track.
The quality of work on display was truly stunning. Both visitors and Club members were able to see a lot of new work that had not been shown in Club competitions, so it was an eye-opener for all.
The Beeding & Bramber Village Hall Committee provided refreshments throughout the two days, and also ran a very successful raffle. They were delighted at the success of the venture, and both they and the Club are keen to run something similar next year.
Big thanks are due to Exhibition Manager Frank Bull and his helpers – both the core team and the army of helpers who stepped forward as riggers and stewards. Here’s to the next time!
