Annual Photo-Hunt Competition 2017 – Arundel Festival
On a glorious sunny Bank Holiday Saturday, 17 members of our camera club met at Mill Road Tea Rooms in Arundel to take part in the annual photo hunt competition. The group spent three hours enjoying the many activities around the town and on the river, including the ever popular dragon boat racing, a performance cars display, Punch and Judy, numerous bands and dance troupes and the annual Gallery Trail of beautiful art works. Unusual characters presented great photo opportunities as they paraded the streets dressed as vikings, nuns, quirky chefs and many wearing multi-coloured wigs.
This years competition was organised, down to the finest detail, by Gary Levett. Thank you Gary – you did a brilliant job. With ten challenging subjects to photograph it will be interesting to see who the winner is when the judging takes place in November. The winner has the dubious honour of arranging next year’s event. For this reason most of those taking part try their hardest not to win ;-))
